"Layer Cake" is one of the most popular cakes in Malaysia. Multiple-layer cake mix are held by a sweet filling, in colorful patterns, together.
Under "Kuih" means little sweet cakes or puddings. The choice is endless, some examples:
"kuih talam" is a pudding of white and green of coconut pandan leaves
"onde-onde" with sugar-filled rice balls coated with shredded coconut
called "pulut ini" a role from
"Tebaloi", or sago snack is a specialty of Sarawak. Sago is extracted from the pith of the sago palm or from cassava. Thin and crispy baked snacks like these are made into tea or coffee. 6 different Geschacksrichtugen are available: strawberry, pandan leaves with green, chocolate, black pepper and turmeric (also called Kurcuma or turmeric), or coconut.
