LIFE PROTECTION AND MEDICINE - help or threat
Life is increasingly under threat - overt and covert, from beginning to end. Eight years ago we founded the HMK to yield an active contribution to the necessary full protection of life. Since the spring of 2007, we show their own video interviews on our website. This new medium gives us the added ability to report in detail about our lecture series at the same time deepening of some topics.
Due to the significantly increased interest in matters relating to the "life before death" we have initiated our project, "Ars Moriendi" and carried out. In January, we were able to visit with Bishop Dr. Hauke columbarium in the impressive All Saints Church of Erfurt. Further talks are planned with the dying.
In dealing with issues of protection of life, it is clear that there is in almost all stages of life, a very close connection between life and medicine. Some key words: stem cell research, in vitro fertilization (IVF), PGD, PND and the greater possibility of survival of premature babies. The continuing increase in life expectancy confirmed the commendable progress of medicine in this final, perhaps most intense phase of life - with the resulting opened wider (in time) options. Contrast, are spreading "age-related" diseases and "fear" of anonymous medical equipment.
